When in fact winning should be based on doing your best. Unfortunately for the team who finished on top, their memory will probably only be one of shame.Tit for Tathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09454132514796693591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20896717.post-39577512187228879532009-01-27T17:27:00.000-05:002009-01-27T17:27:00.000-05:00This has got to be one of the saddest reports I've...This has got to be one of the saddest reports I've read in a long time. The total lack of compassion or humanity on display is just astounding. Without any consideration or concern for their opponents, the winning team pounded out a score of an even 100 and disrupted the challengers enough to force a zero. It's as if the winning team and coach were robots programmed to win and completely lacking in basic sportsmanship.<BR/>I hope that at least some spectators boo'ed as the score was being run up. I would have.romanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15988548647887978919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20896717.post-39956200119468795992009-01-26T20:18:00.000-05:002009-01-26T20:18:00.000-05:00I think I just read on Yahoo that the winning coac...I think I just read on Yahoo that the winning coach says that there is nothing to apologize for, and disagrees with the decision to apologize. So I would say he almost takes pride in the win? But where's the pride in a victory over an opponent who is so far beyond one's skill set?OneSmallStephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08189124855157679020noreply@blogger.com
