I blog because I like it.

BTW..It's a very fitting tribute to all politicians that Pontius Pilate uttered such a mischievous question as What is truth? He wasn’t the first and certainly not the last to employ abstractions to confuse and obfuscate.
I believe that was one of the earliest instances of the usage of what we now commonly term as plausible deniability.
The symbolic washing of the hands is another classic example of the very early use by the political class to avoid responsibility for one's decisions. Both instances portray, with stunning clarity, a corruption of power by deviation from established law.
Yes, the Bible is a veritable fount of insights into the human condition and has lessons that are as valid today as they were in the days of the Roman Empire and earlier.romanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15988548647887978919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20896717.post-74566421356852031342009-03-17T17:32:00.000-04:002009-03-17T17:32:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.romanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15988548647887978919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20896717.post-3379786273506084802009-03-16T08:48:00.000-04:002009-03-16T08:48:00.000-04:00Ahh…but in the words of Pilate, “What is truth?”Ahh…but in the words of Pilate, “What is truth?”DagoodShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04557451438888314932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20896717.post-81586548331486109852009-03-15T08:30:00.000-04:002009-03-15T08:30:00.000-04:00Great piece of writing.
